For over ten years, the Green Strip system has been the industry standard for safe, effective tank cleaning in the US, Europe, and the Far East. The Green Strip system is formulated specifically for cleaning latexes and resins from tank containers, IBCs, reactors, and similar vessels.

| Green Strip | A nonhazardous, biodegradable, powdered detergent which can replace caustic soda as a cleaner. Green Strip is blended in a 4% by weight solution and applied with a high pressure spinner at 200oF (90oC). We have seen that if caustic will clean a product, Green Strip will clean it, with no chemical burns. In addition, there are some products caustic cannot clean that Green Strip will; including synthetic and natural latex, Duran SL 112, many UN 1866 placarded resins, and some paints and UN 1993/1996 resins. If a product is washed with Green Strip by mistake, it will not set up and if can usually be presolved and washed clean with Green Strip. - MSDS Sheet | Available in: 500 lb. drums 50 lb. pails |
| WS-3 Latex Skin Cutter | If latex skins give you trouble, our WS-3 Latex Skin Cutter, also nonhazardous and biodegradable, in a 10% by volume solution with Green Strip eliminates most of the need to scrape latex skins. While Green Strip/WS-3 will solve many of your cleaning headaches, we are realistic enough to know it is not the answer to all problems. The following are some of the products with special considerations.
REQUIRE PRESOLVE : Foundry Core Resin (isocyanate), Unsaturated Polyester Resin, Gold Can Liner, Enamel Based Paints, Resinall CS6-166, Ashland 606-Hardener. Try our TPP water-based Presolve!
REQUIRE THOROUGH HOT WATER FLUSH: Fatty Acids and Amines.
WILL NOT CLEAN: Ester Gum Resin, Petroleum Treating Compounds, Magnafloc.
